Featuring a trio of guitar, accordion, and double bass, their rich history, especially with the bandoneón, is deeply rooted in Argentine folk music yet thrives today, as seen in the acclaimed New York Trio of Richard Galliano. The Trio GuiBassHarmony, established by Lorenzo Ottaviani (guitar), Emanuele Moretti (accordion), and Luca Ziliani (double bass), embraces this tradition while infusing it with renewal, offering a fresh fusion of bossa nova, Argentine tango, and French chanson. This concert presents a “journey through the harmonies of two continents,” forming a bridge among Piazzolla’s nuevo tango, Edith Piaf, French jazz, and American song.
