Lundi Bleu drags the audience along known and less known highlights from the string repertoire with dazzling concerts. In 2005 the orchestra was composed of string players from the best student orchestras in the Netherlands. Over the past fifteen years, under the direction of Carel den Hertog, Lundi Bleu has become synonymous with surprising music, close harmonies and innovative concepts.
We will start the year 2023 off right with a very special edition of our Blue Monday tradition: Blue Sunday! Every year, string orchestra Lundi Bleu offers comfort and relief on the saddest day of the year: Blue Monday. Usually that is the third Monday in January (the holidays are behind us, good intentions have failed, the weekend is over), but this time we do it on a Sunday. So this year on a different day, but with the atmosphere and snacks and drinks you are used to. An afternoon in the Walloon Church full of comfort, beautiful musical surprises and special guests.
