Bachanalia String Orchestra: Masterworks Series

About the Event

The Bachanalia String Orchestra will perform with violinist Nina Beilina (violin) Boris Deviatov (viola) and Maya Lajyani (mezzo‐soprano) in a programme featuring works by Bach, Rachmaninoff and de Falla and with two world premieres by composers Steve Cohen and Dina Pruzhansky.

The Masterworks Series at Bargemusic presents some of the best loved compositions of the chamber music repertoire, performed by excellent artists and ensembles.

Bargemusic presents chamber music in an unlikely and startlingly beautiful venue—a floating barge at the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge. Both established and emerging musicians perform at Bargemusic on a small stage with the dramatic backdrop of the East River and lower Manhattan skyline.
