Soprano Momoko Nakajima and violinist/pianist Tomoko Mayeda deliver a captivating concert experience inside the crypt of St. Peter's Church as part of the renowned nativity scene exhibition. In this otherwise inaccessible chapel, both music enthusiasts and novices have the opportunity to indulge in the enchanting world of classical music. The crypt's consistently pleasant temperature ensures comfort throughout the year.
Featuring an exquisite selection, the program includes Johann Sebastian Bach's Solo Sonata for Violin No. 2 in A minor BWV 1003, the timeless hymn 'Silent Night', as well as the beloved rendition of Johann Sebastian Bach/Charles Gounod's 'Ave Maria'. Additionally, the concert encompasses Antonio Vivaldi's serene 'Domino Deus Largo' from 'Winter' (part of his 'Four Seasons' composition). Alongside these renowned pieces, the audience will also be treated to various classic Christmas carols including 'Adeste Fideles' and more.
