About the Event

Enjoy a wonderful event in the city of Vienna. The event will take place in the beatiful Krypta of the Peterskirche.

The internationally renowned Viennese soprano Regina Schörg ignites a musical firework with favorite works by W. A. Mozart ('Cosi fan tutte', 'Le Nozze di Figaro'), Richard Strauss ('Der Rosenkavalier') as well as selected songs by Franz Schubert (Der Erlkönig a.o.) and from the Wesendonck Lieder by Richard Wagner.
The whole thing is spiced up with all kinds of tidbits of the light muse by Johann Strauss Sohn ('Der Zigeunerbaron', 'Wiener Blut') and others.
She will be accompanied on the piano by the internationally renowned pianist Yu Chen.
The popular actress and director Andrea Schwarz rounds off the whimsical evening with light‐hearted stories and anecdotes about composers and performers.
Established as Austria's smallest opera theater, the performances at KRYPTA captivate with their intensity and high quality.
