About the Event
Music connects continents! For this reason, 'Opera in the Crypt' offers an exclusive premiere of the new Vietnamese translation of Schubert's Winterreise by the poet Chu Thu Phuong, who is well‐known in her home country Vietnam.
Selected songs from Schubert's Winterreise will be performed in German and Vietnamese by the stars of the well‐known opera theatre. Supplemented with an introduction to the work and an interview with the poet (incl. simultaneous translation).
The crypt is pleasantly tempered at any time of year and offers a very personal classical music experience due to its proximity to the artists.
