Palazzo Ripetta is an elegant historic building located in the heart of Rome’s historic center, a few steps from Piazza del Popolo and Via del Corso. Built in 1672 by the will of Pope Innocent XI, the palace was originally established as the headquarters of the Conservatorio della Divina Provvidenza. In the 1960s, the building was purchased by the Ginobbi family, who entrusted the renovation project to architect Luigi Moretti, a prominent figure in 20th‐century Italian architecture. Today Palazzo Ripetta is a luxury hotel, distinguished by a refined design that combines fine materials, custom furnishings, and artworks by Arnaldo Pomodoro, Burri, Scialoja, Lorenzetti, and other contemporary artists.
Among the most evocative spaces—where the Opera e Lirica concert will be held—is the Salone Bernini. Originally consecrated in 1728 as the Conservatory’s church by Pope Benedict XIII, based on a design by Marquis Gerolamo Theodoli, this majestic 18th‐century hall still retains its original structure: a spacious longitudinal nave, two side chapels, and high altar at the back. The ceiling is adorned with the fresco “The Triumph of Divine Providence” by Giacomo Triga, a student of Bernini which gives the environment an atmosphere of rare beauty and solemnity.
