String Dialogues between Baroque and Classicism. The concert offered a refined journey through the evolution of the string duo, highlighting the contrast between the formal rigor of eighteenth‐century Italy and the radiant Mozartian style. Vivaldi and Corelli: an opening dedicated to the Baroque period that shone with technical precision. The tight dynamics and concise counterpoints enhance the brilliance of the violin, supported by a rigorous viola in the basso continuo. The true beating heart of the concert is the Boccherini duo. The galant writing allows the soloists to display a virtuosity that is never an end in itself, rich in dynamic nuances and typically Mediterranean colors. The finale with Mozart demonstrates a perfect symbiosis of timbres. The viola, no longer a mere accompaniment, dialogued equally with the violin, unleashing the cantability and formal balance that make his duets absolute masterpieces. The understanding between violinist Flavia Di Tomasso and violist Cecilia Iacomini, who have been involved in this group for years, is impeccable, with a clear understanding both technically and interpretively, capable of moving from the vigor of the allegro tempos to the introspective sweetness of the adagios.

THE EXPERIENCE
In the heart of Rome, Borromini’s Sacristy opens its doors to offer an intimate and unique musical experience. This extraordinary space, a masterpiece of Baroque architecture and usually not accessible to the public, becomes visitable on the occasion of these events, allowing guests to enter a place of rare beauty and atmosphere.
Concerts begin at 5:45 PM and last approximately one hour, during which the acoustics and atmosphere of the Sacristy enhance every nuance of the music, creating a unique dialogue between art and sound.
