With a history spanning the centuries back to its founding in the 17th Century, during the reign of Leopold I, King of Bohemia and Holy Roman Emperor, the Royal Czech Orchestra boasts a proud heritage of musical excellence and creativity. Re‐established following the 1989 'Velvet Revolution', the orchestra counts many of the Czech Republic's finest musicians among its ranks, and attracts a committed audience of local and visiting music lovers to its concerts.
