About the Event

A dreamlike show for young and old alike created by conductor and director Alondra de la Parra and clown Gabriela Muñoz.

The Silence of Sound is a multidisciplinary musical show featuring a symphony orchestra, a clown/actress, and a video installation which appeals to all the senses. This highly original musical and stage project was created by conductor and director Alondra de la Parra and clown Gabriela Muñoz (Chula the Clown). The show was first performed in 2022 in the women’s native Mexico. The orchestra is onstage and becomes an integral part of the narrative, guiding a clown on a musical journey. A dreamlike show for young and old alike.
