The innocence of one who has not learned to fear, and the ultimate destructive power of love are frequent themes in Wagner's work, perhaps nowhere more so than in this epic of self discovery. Schager has risen to prominence in recent years, and is now recognised as one of the world's foremost heroic tenors. He leads a stellar cast, including Martina Serafin and Iain Paterson, in what promises to be an evening to remember!
