Récital Ave Maria — Rouben Elbakian‐ Golden Voice
Paris, Eglise de la Madeleine — Main Hall
About the Event
The renowned French‐Armenian tenor Rouben Elbakian returns for Easter in the majestic setting of the Church of La Madeleine for his exceptional recital dedicated to the most beautiful Ave Maria, which was already triumphantly received in 2019 and recently in prestigious Parisian churches such as Saint‐Germain‐Des Prés, Saint‐Roch, Saint‐Louis des Invalides, and the splendid church of San Marcello al Corso in Rome. This artist, with his rare and deeply spiritual voice, offers a moment of pure grace with this collection of 12 Ave Marias, carried by an intense and inspired performance that invites his audience to a timeless musical experience, where voice, soul, and emotion become one.
Accompanied by his brilliant pianist Grigori Abramian, Rouben Elbakian also introduces us to Ave Maria gems unknown to the general public: by Lucci, Mascagni, Cherubini, Mozart, Saint‐Saëns… and of course the best known by Caccini, Gounod, and Schubert! This charity recital is being given in aid of the Association K d'Urgences, which is committed to helping single‐parent families. For his many charity recitals given in aid of numerous charitable foundations such as Secours Catholique, Fondation Abbé Pierre, and Fondation Vladimir Spivakov.
