About the Event
The concert opens with a lively, rhythmic atmosphere, with a piece by the Polish composer G. Bacewicz under the passionate direction of Venezuelan conductor Christian Vásquez.
We then travel to Finland with J. Sibelius's marvellous Concerto performed by Aylen Pritchin, before being drawn into the romantic whirlwinds of Eastern Europe with A. Dvořák's Slavonic Dances and J. Brahms's Hungarian Dances. Finally, we take flight with the romantic poem The Preludes by F. Liszt.
