Ouranos & Friends: 10th anniversary at Salle Cortot
Paris, Salle Cortot — Main Hall
About the Event
It's been ten years now since five wind instrument virtuosos decided, at the instigation of clarinettist Amaury Viduvier, to embark on the finest of musical adventures: the Ouranos ensemble was born, and immediately won the highest distinctions. All soloists with major international symphony orchestras, the members of Ouranos brilliantly put their dazzling technique to work in the service of sublime scores (original or artfully transcribed), building up a magnificent repertoire over the years, from Dvořák to Ligeti, via Ravel, Françaix and Strauss.
Les Ouranos intend to celebrate their tenth anniversary in style, with guests who are obviously in every way worthy of their own talent, met in the course of the ensemble's many concerts. On the programme are some of the most emblematic pieces of their career, as well as a few surprises that will blow your mind!
