About the Event
Come for “a quint‐essential New York brownstone concert experience” and get a rare opportunity to hear a major New York Philharmonic Principal Player perform outside an orchestra setting.
Timothy Cobb is Principal Bass at NY Philharmonic, and he performs some of his favorite works for double bass and piano, with pianist Mina Kim. Prior to the Philharmonic, he was Principal Bass at The Met Opera Orchestra. Cobb has been designated a UNESCO Artist for Peace from his affiliation with the World Orchestra.
Program to include works by Bach, Schubert, Hindemith and Giovanni Bottesini.
