Majestic Theatre
New York, USA
The Majestic lives up to its name, as one of Broadway’s most prestigious theaters. Located in a prime spot on West 44th Street, the theater’s Spanish‐style building currently hosts the ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ – the longest‐running production in Broadway’s history.
The Majestic adds to its historic importance with a number of premieres of classic musicals, including 'South Pacific', 'Carousel', 'Camelot', 'The Music Man' und 'A Little Night Music'. Bought by the Shubert brothers during the Great Depression, both the exterior and the Adam‐style interior were designated New York City landmarks in 1987.
