About the Event
Winners of the first‐ever Gramophone Award for Chamber Music and twice Grammy‐nominated for Best Chamber Music Performance, the Fitzwilliam Quartet are Conway Hall regulars and we are pleased to welcome them back! Their recital offers a rare opportunity to hear American composer Amy Beach’s 1929 quartet alongside Beethoven and Shostakovich: a composer with whom the quartet worked and whose interpretations are renowned internationally.
