Get ready for another unforgettable evening of soul music with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, as the Royal Albert Hall is filled with the groundbreaking sounds of the legendary Motown label and other sensational soul artists of that era.
This concert, which will have you on your feet and dancing, features songs by artists who took gospel, blues, and soul to new heights, including: Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Diana Ross, the Jackson 5, Martha Reeves, and the Queen of Soul herself, Aretha Franklin.
We are thrilled to once again welcome star singers Gloria Onitiri and Trevor Dion Nicholas for a series of classic Motown anthems, including: R.E.S.P.E.C.T., Ain’t No Mountain High Enough, I Heard It Through the Grapevine, Reach Out (I’ll Be There), Dancing in the Street, Midnight Train to Georgia, Stop! In the Name of Love, Don’t You Worry ‘Bout A Thing, My Guy, Proud Mary, What Becomes of the Broken‐Hearted, You Can’t Hurry Love, and My Girl.
