Rouben Elbakian – Golden Voice at Holy Sepulchre Church

On Friday, 27 November 2026, the prestigious Holy Sepulchre ‐The National Musicians’ Church in London will welcome Rouben Elbakian, the renowned Franco‐Armenian tenor celebrated internationally as the “Golden Voice.” Accompanied by pianist Grégoire Abramian, Rouben Elbakian will present an exceptional recital devoted to Händel, Rossini, Bellini… alongside great Neapolitan, Romantic and Sacred masterpieces.

Celebrated for the rare beauty, majesty and emotional power of his voice, Rouben Elbakian embodies the timeless spirit of Bel Canto combining vocal splendour with an extraordinary ability to move and uplift audiences. From the great cathedrals of France and Italy to the Arc de Triomphe and Les Invalides in Paris, where he has performed on five occasions for national ceremonial events, his voice has accompanied moments of exceptional artistic and cultural significance. The Italian magazine La Voce hailed him as an “Alchemist of Art”, describing an artist placed at the service of the divine, whose voice seems to lift the listener beyond space and time. His recordings have also received notable recognition, including praise from the Académie du Disque Lyrique for his album Chansons Napolitaines, and a “Coup de Cœur du Disquaire” from FNAC for his album dedicated to the Armenian composer Komitas.

His artistic and humanitarian commitment has earned him two prestigious Gold Medals: the Grand Prix Humanitaire de France, awarded at the French Senate in 2021, and the Ligue Universelle du Bien Public, presented at the Garde Républicaine in 2023. These distinctions honoured his numerous charity recitals, performed in support of major charitable foundations and organisations.

Rouben Elbakian has also been honoured as a Knight of the Napoleonic Military Order and was selected by the prestigious LUXURY Magazine among 57 of the world’s most renowned Armenians, alongside such celebrated names as Charles Aznavour and Michel Legrand.
