The concert includes a specially designed lighting experience to perfectly compliment the programme with a 'Northern Lights' theme.
From the serene beauty of Elgar’s Serenade for Strings to the thrilling energy of Grieg’s In the Hall of the Mountain King, this carefully curated programme showcases some of the most evocative and beloved works in the orchestral repertoire. The concert also features the radiant Morning from Peer Gynt, Elgar’s deeply moving Nimrod from the Enigma Variations, and Grieg’s magnificent Piano Concerto in A minor performed by renowned concert pianist Warren Mailley‐Smith. Performed by the acclaimed Piccadilly Sinfonietta, this captivating programme promises an evening of musical brilliance, passion and atmosphere in one of London’s most unique and historic venues.

Particularly known for his interpretations of Chopin, Mailley‐Smith gives regular solo performances in some of central London's most prominent chamber music and recital venues, including St John's Smith Square and the Wigmore Hall. Alongside his solo career, Warren Mailley‐Smith is the founder and Musical Director of the Piccadilly Sinfonietta, one of the UK's most in‐demand ensembles. |
