About the Event
In order to expand the Gewandhaus concert program to include music composed well before 1800, the Neues Bachisches Collegium Musicum is organizing a series dedicated to so‐called “early music.” The artistic director and conductor of the new series is Reinhard Goebel, who is considered a globally sought‐after expert in this repertoire and who is able to vividly convey the musical connections between the concert programs with his entertaining presentations.
