Every Saturday evening, the cloisters of the Carmelite Monastery in Kraków open their doors for a remarkable encounter with music and history.
The evening begins with an exclusive guided tour of the monastery treasury – a space usually closed to the public. This is a rare opportunity to admire priceless monastic collections: medieval manuscripts, 14th‐century books, and ancient Gregorian chants preserved for centuries within the monastery walls. A guide will introduce you to the rich legacy and secrets of this unique treasury.
Following the tour, a musical journey awaits. In the monastery’s candlelit cloisters, Antonio Vivaldi’s timeless masterpiece – The Four Seasons – will be performed by musicians dressed in historical costumes. The intimate atmosphere, enhanced by the glow of hundreds of candles, creates an unforgettable experience that evokes the splendor of the European Baroque.
