Vivaldi & Arcimboldo – immersive exhibition with live music by Candle Glow
Krakow, Royal Chopin Hall
About the Event
For the first time in Poland, we are presenting an innovative, immersive spectacle that redefines the way art is experienced. In a unique, historic space, a dynamic gallery comes to life, where image, sound, and light merge into a single entity and, with the help of modern projection mapping technology, create a performance that appeals to all the senses.
This extraordinary project draws inspiration from the works of Giuseppe Arcimboldo and the timeless music of Antonio Vivaldi. Thanks to state‐of‐the‐art visual technologies, the artworks come to life—we literally set Vivaldi’s most famous “Four Seasons” in motion. Nature blooms, ripens, withers, and freezes before the audience’s eyes in wintry stillness, thus creating a fascinating story about the cycle of life.
This is a unique Italian production and a one‐of‐a-kind special exhibition that takes the audience on an unforgettable journey through the seasons. It is an experience where art breaks free from its frame and begins to live in its own rhythm.
Live music is an essential part of the event. In the historic Royal Chopin Hall—located at the foot of Wawel—a special candlelit piano trio concert takes place. This 45‐minute performance lends depth and emotion to the entire experience, combining the visual spectacle with a masterful interpretation of Vivaldi’s music.
The visual aspect draws on Arcimboldo’s extraordinary imagination—his compositions of fruits, flowers, and natural elements have been transformed here into dynamic, vibrant images that reflect the character of each season.
It is more than just a show.
It is an immersive journey through art, nature, and time—where music paints pictures and pictures begin to breathe.
