Genesis – The Creation Light Show
Krakow, Royal Chopin Hall
About the Event
In the heart of Kraków, within the remarkable interiors of the former refectory of the Bernardine Fathers, a space normally hidden and inaccessible to visitors is opening its doors. This historic hall, distinguished by its monumental architecture, soaring vaulted ceilings, and unique atmosphere, becomes the stage for an immersive spectacle of light, music, and art. Here, at Royal Chopin Hall, history meets cutting‐edge technology, creating an experience that captivates from the very first moment.
We invite you on an extraordinary journey inspired by the biblical story of the Creation — from the first burst of light, through the birth of heaven and earth, waters, plants, and animals, to the creation of humankind and the perfect harmony of nature. Each part of the show guides the audience through the successive days of Creation, revealing the beauty, energy, and power of a world awakening to life.
Monumental visual projections bring to life inspirations drawn from the works of Michelangelo, the master behind the iconic scenes of the Creation of Man, and Giuseppe Arcimboldo, whose extraordinary compositions made of flowers, fruits, and elements of nature perfectly express the unity of the natural world.
State‐of‐the‐art immersive projection technology transforms the former refectory into a spectacular 360‐degree experience. The mapped ceiling, monumental walls, and light‐filled interior create a mesmerizing environment in which visitors are completely immersed in image and sound.
For approximately 30 minutes, audiences experience a unique visual and musical performance. Classical masterpieces by composers such as Johann Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and Ludwig van Beethoven intertwine with contemporary electronic music, creating a rich, emotional, and intensely sensory soundtrack for the entire experience.
GENESIS is more than an exhibition — it is a sensory journey through a world of light, sound, and emotion. Monumental projections, immersive surround sound, and moving artistic compositions make every image feel almost tangible, allowing visitors to become fully immersed in the process of creation itself.
This is a story that can not only be seen, but experienced with all the senses.
