Four Season's concert in the Carmelite Cloisters
Krakow, Carmelite Monastery ‘Na Piasku’
About the Event
A concert in the candle glow in the cloisters of the Carmelite monastery
Every Saturday evening, the cloisters of the Carmelite monastery at 19 Karmelicka Street in Kraków open their doors to invite you to a unique encounter with art and history.
The evening begins with an opportunity for self‐guided exploration of the historic cloisters—a space with a truly special atmosphere that has been part of monastic life for centuries. It is a perfect occasion to quietly and at your own pace discover the beauty of the architecture and feel the spirit of this place.
Then, the music begins. In the historic cloisters, illuminated by hundreds of candles, you will hear Antonio Vivaldi’s masterpiece – The Four Seasons. The piece will be performed by musicians dressed in stylized historical costumes, enhancing the sense of stepping back in time and transporting listeners to the atmosphere of Europe’s Baroque salons.
