About the Event
Spring is here—with music full of light, lightness, and joie de vivre.
The DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER invites you to a festive gala concert over the Easter weekend, bringing the magic of spring to life on stage through music.
Look forward to beloved works celebrating spring, including Vivaldi’s “Spring,” Mendelssohn’s “Spring Song,” and Johann Strauss’s “Voices of Spring Waltz.”
Lively waltz melodies, romantic sounds, and virtuoso orchestral artistry will accompany you through the Easter weekend and set the mood for the first warm days of spring.
Right in the heart of Karlsruhe stands the Evangelical City Church—a Neoclassical building characterized by clean lines and inviting brightness.
Its exceptional acoustics lend the music a special sense of spatial depth and make the nave an ideal venue for memorable concert evenings.
Here, space, sound, and atmosphere blend together to create an intense listening experience.
The DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTRA has been performing for many years in renowned concert halls and churches throughout Germany, delighting its audiences with diverse programs of great classical works.
Following its debut in May 2026, the ensemble is looking forward to performing again at the Stadtkirche in Karlsruhe in 2027.
