Teatro della Pergola
Florence, Italy
The Teatro della Pergola opened in 1656. It is considered to be the oldest theater in Italy, and it was once the private theater of the Grand Duke. The theater has two halls. The beautifully restored Main hall and the Saloncino. The smaller programs take place in the 400‐seat Saloncino, a former ballroom with excellent acoustics. It is, in fact, often specifically chosen by vocalists for its magnificent sound.
