The Trio Mascarade returns to the heart of Florence with a concert dedicated to the masterpieces of the Romantic era.
Step inside the Concert Hall of Palazzo Corsini al Prato on Saturday, 21 March 2026, and feel the world fall away. Julia Lynch, pianist and Artistic Director of Mascarade Opera, commands the stage alongside Tijmen Huisingh on violin and Ross Montgomery on clarinet, filling the hall with music that pulses with life and imagination. Let the music of Schubert, Schumann, and Mendelssohn carry you into a world where time slows and sound takes over. The concert’s title, Fantasiestücke (“Pieces of Fantasy”), evokes Robert Schumann’s cycle and introduces a programme alive with lyricism and expressive intensity, inviting you to lose yourself completely in the music.
The doors open at 6:00 PM for a pre‐concert reception, a chance to lift a glass of wine and let the anticipation build. At 7:00 PM, the concert begins, and for the next hour, it’s just you and the music. Recorded sound can never capture this.
