Enchanting Autumn Classics: Outside, an unpleasant wind is blowing and the rain is lashing your face – autumn has arrived. Autumn is beautiful, the leaves turn the most beautiful colors. Edvard Grieg, W. A. Mozart, Johann Strauss, A. Vivaldi and many other composers dedicated themselves to the beautiful season of autumn. The chamber ensemble of the DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER, together with a charming soprano, presents a selection of many colorful works. Enjoy the most colorful of the seasons in the Dresden Zwinger Palace with a glass of sparkling wine and enchanting music.
Practical Information
The concert hall in the Wallpavillon is located on the upper level of the Dresden Zwinger Palace opposite the Glockenspiel Pavilion. One path leads up from the inner courtyard of the Zwinger via curved steps. The second path leads from Theaterplatz over a small rampart — located to the right of the restaurant & Café Alte Meister / Theaterplatz 1a and opposite the left side of the Semperoper Dresden — to the upper level. There are three sandstone steps to climb. On concert days, signs will guide you to us.
Due to the historical construction, the toilets and the concert hall are not barrier‐free but only accessible via steps.

| Orchestra: | Dresdner Residenz Orchester The young und very talented musicians of the DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER, a chambre orchestra of 4 – 8 musicians, has been delighting visitors to Dresden's famous Zwinger Palace since its formation in 2013. Founded by Prof. Igor Malinovsky, the ensemble is acclaimed for its agility and adaptability, creating magical interpretations of works written for much larger forces alongside classic works for chamber orchestra by Vivaldi, Mozart and Johann Strauss. The DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER also appears as a guest ensemble at prestigious venues such as par example the Berlin Philharmonie, Liederhalle Stuttgart, Laeiszhalle Hamburg and the Münchener Residenz. |
