He is Germany's most famous pianist, someone who touches the hearts of his listeners directly with his music: Joja Wendt moves virtuosically and effortlessly between musical styles. Whether jazz, classical, rock, or pop—the pianist is at home in all genres and elevates the piano concert format to the highest level of entertainment for audiences of all ages and musical tastes. The prolific artist has now released more than 30 albums, composes film music, and plays more than 100 live performances per year. “My original musical home is the club,” says Wendt, who was discovered by Joe Cocker in just such a Hamburg venue more than 30 years ago. Actor and comedian Bastian Pastewka will be the special guest on this entertaining show. Incidentally, he was the first guest on Joja Wendt's show “Bullitalk” on RTL+, in which the musician invites celebrity guests to sing and talk in his VW bus.
