Dresdner Musikfestspiele: Musical adventure — Omer Meir Wellber & Blaues Ensemble
Dresden, Militärhistorisches Museum der Bundeswehr — Foyer
About the Event
He stands for renewal of the musical experience and has the gift of turning any audience into a community. Omer Meir Wellber, known for his curiosity, versatility, and unconventional approaches, will present his new Blue Ensemble this evening, which brings together musicians from the Philharmonic State Orchestra and highlights their special qualities. The repertoire is not routine, but becomes an adventure. And all the more so when the Military History Museum is transformed into a concert hall for this evening. Just as the museum's extension (the famous wedge by star architect Daniel Libeskind) is a reference to breaks in German history and at the same time opens up new lines of sight, the musical program also breaks new ground and promises to be an exciting and discovery‐filled evening through improvisation and unusual combinations.
