About the Event
The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain is back in town! After acclaimed concerts in Dresden in 2024 and 2025, the Ukes are now making their third consecutive appearance at the music festival. Since 1985, the ensemble's declared mission has been to counter the seriousness of life with charm, British humor, surprising arrangements, a healthy dose of self‐irony, and simply sheer joy in playing and entertaining. With more concerts under their belts than the Rolling Stones, these virtuoso musicians prove night after night that you can have fun with any genre—as long as it's on the ukulele. A witty, whimsical, irreverent, magnificent, rousing evening of rock ‘n’ roll and melodic entertainment that simply makes you happy. But beware: it's addictive!
