Dresdner Musikfestspiele: Dream duo of violin and piano — Veronika Eberle & José Gallardo
Dresden, Palais im Großen Garten — Main Hall
About the Event
When two exceptional musicians come together, magic happens: acclaimed violinist Veronika Eberle and José Gallardo, one of the most sought‐after chamber music pianists, form a duo that plays in perfect harmony. For their festival concert, they have put together a program that is tailor‐made for the Palais im Großen Garten. The popular duo works penned by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Robert Schumann, Antonín Dvořák, and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy feature enchanting melodies and colorful musical language. Incidentally, it was the legendary violinist Yehudi Menuhin who discovered and published Mendelssohn's Sonata in F major in 1953. A real sensation that concludes this special matinee in keeping with the motto “LIGHTNESS OF BEING” with spirited and weightless sounds.
