Lesser known than the St. Matthew, the St. John Passion is both shorter and more concentrated. Like its counterpart, it is a deeply dramatic work on a religious theme.

The Concerto Köln and Accentus, under the direction of Laurence Equilbey, provide an event not to be missed.
