Orchestra: | Duna String Orchestra A Budapest institution, the Duna String Orchestra plays regularly at many of the city's greatest landmarks, including the St. Stephen's Basilica, St. Michael's Church and the Duna Palace. Led by violinist Gabora Gyula, the orchestra performs great works from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries in surroundings that evoke the spirit of Budapest's golden age, and are often joined by renowned organists to make the most of the magnificent keyboard instruments present in these majestic venues. |
