Then transfer to the TITLIS Rotair to complete your journey to the summit station. From there, choose from a variety of activities: TITLIS Cliff Walk: The highest suspension bridge in Europe is located on the mountain at 9,971 feet (3,041 meters) above sea level. Glacier Park: Enjoy fun snow activities at the glacier snow park. Ride down the slopes on snow tubes tires, balancers, snake gliss, or mini bobs then ascend again easily on the conveyor belt. Meet your guide at the canyoning base, where you’ll receive your safety gear, including a wetsuit to protect you from the chilly mountain water. The 1‐hour scenic drive out to the canyon follows the impressive peaks of the Bernese Alps through Grimsel Pass. Listen as your guide gives a run‐down of your day’s activities. On arrival, snap on your helmet, harness and life jacket, followed by a safety briefing. Then put your skills to the test as you go abseiling (rappelling) down a 165‐foot (50‐meter) cliff face into the canyon and plunge into the water. Your wet and wild journey includes roughly 2.5 hours of fun — leaping off rocky ledges from up to 26 feet (8 meters) above and sliding down natural chutes into swirling plunge pools. Your guide will show the way and ensure your safety, and even take you along easier routes if you're not feeling quite so adventurous. Zoom down a high zipline into crystal‐clear waters below and float effortlessly downstream. Swiss Alps Beginner Canyoning Experience from Interlaken
Start your beginner’s canyoning adventure with pickup from either of Interlaken's train stations, or from your accommodation in Interlaken or one of seven local municipalities. You’re transferred to the canyoning base to meet your guide and gather your safety gear, including a wetsuit to keep you warm against the chill of the mountain water. Enjoy the 10‐minute drive to the outskirts of Wilderswil along a scenic route beneath the Jungfrau, Mönch and Eiger mountain peaks of the Swiss Alps. On arrival, it’s a short walk up the hill to the canyon entrance where you’ll snap on your helmet, harness and life jacket and receive a safety briefing. Put techniques you’ve learned into practice as you go abseiling (rappelling) 33 feet into the canyon and plunge into the water below. Clamber up and leap off 20‐foot (6‐meter) rock ledges into surging white‐water pools and slide through a series of chutes into plunge pools. Continue downstream to the final slide in the second canyon, and float along at your leisure while the water carries you down a natural channel, over a series of drops and into a deep pool of tranquil water below. Rest assured that your guides are on hand throughout the adventure to ensure your safety. At the end of your canyoning run, take a short walk back to the bus for the return drive to the base, where you can purchase a copy of your filmed trip through the canyons.
