“Rejoice, be glad!” — Johann Sebastian Bach's Christmas Oratorio is one of the best‐known and most popular masterpieces of Baroque music, and with its festive Christmas atmosphere, for many it is simply part of Christmas. The Christmas Oratorio comprises six cantatas, the first three of which, composed for the three days of Christmas, will be performed on December 26 at the Konzerthaus by the Nikolaichor Potsdam, the Europe Symphony Orchestra, and renowned soloists such as Anne Schneider and Simon Robinson.
