About the Event
Award‐winning jazz saxophonist, bandleader, actor, composer—and equally at home in the classical world: Branford Marsalis effortlessly switches between roles and musical worlds. He’ll be performing here with, among other works, a new piece by Jeff Beal, who composed the scores for the TV series *Monk* and *House of Cards*, for example. The self‐organized Orpheus Chamber Orchestra will also be performing works by Duke Ellington and George Gershwin, guaranteeing top‐notch entertainment that bridges the gap between classical music and jazz.
