Oh, what it would be like to wake up in a world of happiness. When Luci opens her eyes, she is surrounded by her most beautiful unlived dreams. The splendor of this dream world is breathtaking, her old life only a distant echo. Every breath she takes is like a brushstroke, every space that opens up is a symphony of unimagined possibilities. And in front of her — the man of her dreams.
A new beginning, her imagination whispers. Dreams burst, says reason. Her dream man senses that Luci, blinded by so much happiness, may not trust him. But he knows that they only have a chance, if they allow their two worlds to merge. He fights for the love of his life with everything he has.
Luci is faced with the big question that we all have to ask ourselves at some point: Do we stay realistic or do we have the courage to live our dreams?
BLINDED by DELIGHT is a reminder of happiness that overwhelms all the senses. Who knows, maybe at the beginning of every change is a dream that wants to be held on to and not evaporate.
The American star designer Jeremy Scott, who has already outfitted stars such as Madonna, Katy Perry, Beyoncé and Rihanna is designing all 500 costumes for the Grand Show. A fascinating mixture of haute couture couture and pop culture.
The meaning of the show title BLINDED describes how Luci is completely overwhelmed by her emotions. DELIGHT (engl: Happiness, joy, delight) are the intoxicating, almost ecstatic feelings that envelop her.
Luci is so caught up in the happiness of her dreams and her romantic feelings that she wonders whether it can all be true or whether it will shatter in the next blink of an eye.
Is it all a lie or love? BLINDED by DELIGHT expresses this emotional dichotomy and can be heard with 'Blinded with rapture' as well as 'enchanted with happiness'. A passionate dance of great emotions.
