About the Event
Rolf Riehm (1937–2026) was one of the most original figures in contemporary music his death has left a huge void in the music world. On the first anniversary of his death, February 14, 2027, ensemble mosaik will honor him with a concert. In addition to the central composition “Hawking” from 1998, the program will feature pieces from his early and late works. The evening is not only a musical tribute but also a dialogue about art and responsibility, intellectualism and resistance—themes that make his work so unique and indispensable.
