About the Event
The Dresden Chapel Soloists are mainly members of the Saxon State Orchestra. Since 1994, the musicians have been united in their passion for the historically accurate reconstruction of the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic musical heritage. The Dresden Chapel Soloists are known for their rousing, lively interpretations, for which they have already been awarded the Echo Klassik prize. Their busy concert schedule takes the Dresden Chapel Soloists to all the major music centers in Germany. Abroad, the ensemble performs in Europe, Japan, and Korea and at renowned festivals. The Dresdner Kapellsolisten collaborate artistically with internationally renowned soloists, including Jan Vogler, Viktoria Mullova, Mirjam Contzen, Francois Leleux, Alison Balsom, Albrecht Mayer, Daniel Müller‐Schott, Tine Thing Helseth, and Lise de la Salle. Helmut Branny and his ensemble have a long‐standing artistic relationship with the Dresden Kreuzchor.
