Comedian Harmonists Today: Gala‐Konzert
Berlin, Konzerthaus Berlin — Kleiner Saal
About the Event
It all began at Berlin’s Theater am Kurfürstendamm with the world premiere of “Comedian Harmonists (Part 2) – Now or Never,” directed by Martin Wölffer. This successful play gave rise to an ensemble of five singers and a pianist, which has been bringing the music of the legendary Comedian Harmonists to the stage ever since. After a hiatus, the group is now returning with new members and an expanded repertoire in “Comedian Harmonists Today – Unreleased!”.
To mark the 100th anniversary, the audience can look forward to a musical journey back to the era of the “world’s first boy band”—featuring well‐known classics such as “Mein kleiner grüner Kaktus,” “Veronika, der Lenz ist da,” and “Irgendwo auf der Welt,” as well as rarely performed and previously unreleased rarities from the original archive. Charming, humorous, and full of nostalgia, the ensemble brings the sound of the Golden Twenties back to life.
Featuring Carlos Sanches, Thorsten Hennig, Maximilian Nowka, Marco Vassalli, Alexandre Pierre, and Simon Berg
