With Christmas stories and poems wrapped up in well‐known hits and evergreens from the original group, the Comedian Harmonists Forever invite you to their traditional Christmas concert.
Many years and countless concerts in front of enthusiastic audiences later, the ensemble has finally reunited with some new members since its founding in Berlin. And true to the motto: now or never, but then forever, Comedian Harmonists Today has now become Comedian Harmonists Forever. And so the beloved story continues. Let the singers transport you to the Berlin of the golden 1920s and 30s.
Französischer Dom (Friedrichstadtkirche)
The French Cathedral (Französischer Dom) graces the Gendarmenmarkt, Berlin's most stunning square, as one of its three central edifices. Originally constructed as a sanctuary for the Huguenots—adherents of the Protestant Reformed Church of France who sought refuge in Berlin under the reign of Frederick the Great—it holds profound historical significance. Facing the German Church (or Neue Kirche), the French Cathedral and its counterpart display identical domes, creating a breathtaking architectural harmony. In this distinctive setting, 'Dom' signifies the French 'dome' rather than a German 'cathedral'. Inside, visitors can explore the Huguenot museum, savor a meal at the restaurant, and ascend to a viewing platform for a spectacular view of Berlin's Mitte district.
