About the Event

In the vibrant heart of Berlin, dive into an auditory journey at one of the city's legendary venues. The Hall of Mirrors at Clärchens Ballhaus captivates with its high ceilings and reflective walls, offering a space that exudes a unique charm. Known for its outstanding acoustics, it stands as a top destination for concerts.

'Dark Lights' brings together a Ukrainian piano trio with one of the most visionary composers and producers of our time. In this unique project, the expressiveness of classical chamber music and the physical energy of contemporary electronic music collide directly. “This project,” says Gabriel Prokofiev, “is in a way an unexpected renewal of the Baroque and Classical dance suite tradition, but for the 21st century. We draw on the dance rhythms of our time (techno, grime, trap, funk), just as Couperin, Mozart, Chopin, or Bartók drew on minuets, waltzes, gavottes, or polkas in their time.

The program showcases the fusion of acoustic instruments (violin, cello, piano), electronic sounds, deep bass structures, and machine‐generated rhythms, along with light design for an immersive, club‐like experience.
