'Peter and the Wolf' is a musical fairy tale by Sergei Prokofiev in which each character is represented by its own instrument and musical theme. Christian Banzhaf tells the story of the courageous Peter with great expression and humor, while the Chaussee ensemble uses its instruments to give the characters their distinctive character and sound—an exciting and easily understandable musical adventure for children and adults that has been delighting audiences for generations.

An ideal outing for young and old alike!

The plot, written by Sergei Prokofiev himself, tells the story of a boy named Peter who lives with his grandfather near a forest. A wolf lives in the forest and preys on the animals, who are Peter's friends. But Peter is clever and sets a clever trap for the wolf – a circumstance that has led some to interpret the fairy tale as an allegory for political circumstances.
