The Neue Philharmonie invites you to a distinguished symphonic concert in the exceptional setting of the Siemens Villa.
The concert opens with Gioachino Rossini’s world‐famous William Tell Overture – a thrilling musical firework full of tension and energy.
This is followed by the world premiere of the Viola Concerto by Schumacher, a contemporary work of great expressive power that places the viola center stage as a solo instrument.
The highlight of the evening is Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 “Pastoral”, a masterpiece rich in images of nature, serenity, and inner motion – music that continues to move and inspire audiences today.
Under the direction of Andreas Schulz, the orchestra of the Neue Philharmonie unfolds its full tonal spectrum and invites the audience to an intense and memorable concert experience. A special concert evening in a unique location – sensual, powerful, and full of surprises.
