Immerse yourself in new musical worlds of sound created by the cello and fortepiano and experience classical and romantic sounds such as sonatas by Ludwig van Beethoven, Frédéric Chopin, Dimitri Shostakovich, and Johannes Brahms, among others, in authentic beauty and new intensity. The versatile cellist Aleke Alpermann has dedicated herself to chamber music in addition to her work with renowned orchestras such as the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, the Kammerakademie Potsdam, and the Deutsches Symphonie‐Orchester Berlin. She is a sought‐after continuo player with the RIAS Chamber Choir and the Berlin Radio Choir. Now, together with harpsichordist Flóra Fábri, she presents an evening for cello and fortepiano.

Konzerthaus Berlin
The Konzerthaus Berlin is a concert hall situated on the Gendarmenmarkt, the most beautiful square in the city. Built in 1821, the structure initially served as a theater. Severely damaged in the Second World War, it was rebuilt as a concert hall in 1977, with a neoclassical interior, and changed its name to reflect its new function in 1994. Consistently numbered among the top five concert halls in the world, the Konzerthaus hosts around 500 performances every year, ranging from symphony and chamber concerts featuring international stars to new music and children's concerts.
