Barcelona, Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau — Sala Pau Gil
About the Event
The Sant Pau International Chamber Music Festival is a new cultural project in the heart of Barcelona. The historic Hospital de Sant Pau, one of the city's most emblematic monuments and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will be the setting for a series of top‐level chamber music concerts.
Over ten days, the festival brings together some of today's most exceptional musicians, including Daishin Kashimoto, Alexander Chaushian, Joaquín Riquelme, María Florea, Jing Zhao, Lucas Macías Navarro, Vicente Alberola, and Uxía Martínez. Artists of this caliber are rarely available for an extensive project such as this this truly exceptional gathering is made possible thanks to personal connections and a shared passion for chamber music.
More than just a concert program, this is a living artistic residency. The musicians stay in the city, rehearse together, and build a musical journey that unfolds throughout the festival. The audience is invited to follow this journey, discovering how each performance links to the next in an evolving conversation of sound and emotion.
Born out of friendship and artistic affinity, the Sant Pau Festival is a celebration of beauty, connection, and presence. Whether you are passionate about music or curious to experience chamber music for the first time, this festival offers a unique opportunity to listen to artists of the highest caliber in an extraordinary space.
