About the Event
MEAM invites you to dive into the lively 'unplugged' concerts of the Sunday Sounds series, showcasing an eclectic blend of musical styles, including indie, flamenco fusion, tango, and pop. Set off on a unique sonic journey where, consistent with MEAM’s tradition, music harmoniously integrates with art and history.
The duo formed by Italian pianist Giovanni Ghizzani and Irish trumpeter/singer Noel Fortune presents a repertoire of jazz standards reinterpreted in a personal style. The project focuses on interplay, listening, and dialogue between the musicians, with an approach open to improvisation and spontaneous development of forms, while maintaining a clear link to tradition.
