About the Event
Iceland is new to the prestigious European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO). And so the Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavík has nominated soprano Álfheiður Erla Guðmundsdóttir as an “ECHO Rising Star.” The young singer, who also works as a photographer and video artist, completed her studies at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin and is now a soloist in the ensemble of the Theater Basel.
